Braised shrimp with shredded radish
Overview
Stewed shrimps with shredded radish was a popular dish a few years ago. It was available in restaurants of all sizes. I bought a few more green radishes a few days ago and thought of this dish. I just happened to eat some green radish to eliminate fat.

Steps
-
Prepare materials
-
Wash the green radish, trim off the scars, and grate it into shreds; I personally feel that grated radish tastes better and is softer than shredding it
-
Use scissors to cut the prawns between their backs and heads so that the brains can be pressed out and the threads can be removed
-
Put an appropriate amount of oil in the wok, when the oil is hot, add onions and ginger and stir-fry until fragrant
-
Add shredded radish and stir-fry
-
Fry until shredded radish is soft, add appropriate amount of water and simmer
-
Add a little salt and cook until the spiciness of the shredded radish is reduced, then add the prawns; use a spatula to press the heads of the prawns to encourage the prawn brains to enter the dish
-
Simmer until a layer of red oil floats in the vegetable soup, add an appropriate amount of salt to taste; stir-fry evenly and serve

The hot shredded radish paired with the freshly baked steamed buns is extremely delicious
