Hedgehog buns
Overview
There are children at home, and as mothers, we try every possible way to make them eat happily and healthily! This hedgehog steamed bun is small and cute, and is very popular among children. In fact, the stuffing inside this little hedgehog is the most delicious, but I forgot to melt the bean paste stuffing before, so I could only make it into steamed buns. Fortunately, my baby is very considerate even if it is made into steamed buns, and I eat it happily...

Ingredients
Steps
-
Sprinkle the yeast into warm water and do not move it. It will fall into pieces in about 10 minutes. Use chopsticks to break it up
-
Add baking powder and sugar to the flour and mix well. Add activated yeast water little by little to form a smooth dough. Seal with plastic wrap and ferment at room temperature for about 2 and a half hours during this season. It should rise to 2-2.5 times in size
-
After the dough has risen, pull it apart to see the texture
-
Place the dough on a dough board and knead until smooth, cut into pieces
-
Roll into water droplets in turn
-
Use two sesame seeds as eyes, and then use scissors to cut out the hedgehog’s thorns
-
Add an appropriate amount of water to the pot, brush oil on the drawer, leave a gap for the hedgehog while cooking, cover it with a lid when done, let it rest for 15 minutes until the hedgehog becomes round, turn on high heat to steam, and turn off the heat after 12 minutes. Open the lid after 3 minutes to prevent shrinkage
