Overview

I owed it to you when I was a kid, the fried sugar cake with the taste of my hometown in Henan... It is hygienic and more delicious to make by yourself. You can put the fillings as you like! I used a very filling brown sugar with walnut kernels, and added some roses to enhance the flavor. It was so delicious that it was not enough to eat at once!

  3. Pour the water into the pot, add the white sugar, stir evenly, and bring to a boil over medium heat; (I won’t tell you that I scald the noodles with the soup below. I worked so hard to roll out the noodles and my family didn’t even drink the soup after eating! Alas...)

  4. Pour the cooked sugar water quickly into the flour. (Because the water absorption of flour is different, the dough should not be too soft, so as not to stick to your hands when filling.) Use a spatula to mix until there is no dry powder, and set it aside to cool; (Did you see that wooden spatula? It only cost ten yuan when I bought it from IKEA. It is so easy to use)

  5. Mix all the ingredients in the filling evenly (I mixed the brown sugar and candied roses with my hands, then added flour and evenly mixed them with my hands, and finally added the chopped walnuts and stirred evenly with chopsticks) to form the brown sugar walnut filling;

  7. Divide the dough evenly into 10 small pieces, each about 40 grams, and roll them into rounds in turn; (if you find it difficult, wear disposable gloves if the dough is a bit sticky);
