Barley and glutinous rice, set aside.

Peel the winter melon, remove the flesh, wash and cut into pieces, set aside.

Wash the barley and glutinous rice separately and soak them in water for 4 hours. Put the pot on the fire, pour in an appropriate amount of water and bring to a boil. Add the barley and glutinous rice.
