Steamed eggplant with ginger and garlic
Overview
Steam the eggplant with sour and spicy ginger and minced garlic. The eggplant absorbs the spicy aroma and becomes soft. Mix it with a spoonful of juice and you can have an extra bowl of rice without eating meat. It is a proper meal.

This kind of green eggplant is called candel. It is smaller, softer and more tender than the purple eggplant we usually eat. The ginger is tender and spicy and has a light fragrance.

Wash the eggplant, remove the head and tail, cut into strips, and place neatly on a plate.

Slice ginger into shreds, peel and mince garlic cloves.

Place the shredded ginger and minced garlic on top of the eggplant.

Sprinkle salt, sugar, MSG evenly on the eggplant, and then sprinkle with a little oil.

After boiling water in a steamer over high heat, add eggplant and steam for 10 minutes.

Pour the soy sauce and a few drops of sesame oil on the steamed eggplant and mix well when eating.
