Overview
Mrs. Jin was born on the shore of Laizhou Bay, one of the three major bays of the Bohai Sea. It is rich in various fish, shrimps and shellfish. Among the eight delicacies of the ocean, scallops are the most delicious and were one of the tributes in ancient times. Wang Zhidao of the Song Dynasty once praised the scallops along the coast of Fujian by saying that humps are good at the northwest and scallops are good at the southeast. However, the fresh shellfish from the Bohai Bay are large, plump and tender in taste, definitely not inferior to those in southeastern Fujian. The diced scallops used in this porridge are produced in-house and are absolutely fresh, natural and organic.
