Steamed Pork
Overview
Steamed pork (also known as rice vermicelli meat, noodle meat) is one of the famous traditional dishes of the Han nationality that is widely popular in southern China (Jiangxi, Sichuan, southern Shaanxi, Anhui, Hubei, Hunan, Zhejiang, Fujian, Jiangsu and other places). It is made with the main ingredient skin-on pork belly, rice noodles and other seasonings. The steamed pork noodles are glutinous and fragrant, crispy and refreshing, fat and thin, red and white, tender but not greasy, the rice noodles are oily and rich in flavor. I make my own steamed pork noodles at home. I don’t have to pay too much attention to what I like to eat. The most important thing is to suit your taste!

Let’s talk about steamed pork noodles. I made it myself by mashing fried glutinous rice and corn kernels with a stone mortar, adding five-spice powder and some rice flour, mix well, then coat the steamed pork with flour and put it on a plate~

I peeled a sweet potato and put it into the rice cooker. After boiling the water, steam it for about 40 minutes. Use chopsticks to pierce the meat.

Oooh~ sprinkle with chopped green onion and serve...

The meat is already very tasty and the granular powder coats the meat with fat but not greasy and tastes great! The sweet potatoes also have a meaty flavor and are really good with rice! 😍😍😍🤔
