Overview

Every time I go to a restaurant, I like to order oil-consuming lettuce. Today, I don’t use oil at home, so I use sweet and spicy sauce instead. It tastes good.

  1. Chop ginger and garlic into fine pieces and set aside

  2. Add appropriate amount of minced ginger, minced garlic, appropriate amount of sweet and spicy sauce, appropriate amount of soybean paste, appropriate amount of soy sauce, a small amount of salt, a small amount of sugar, add appropriate amount of water and stir.

  3. Add water to the pot and bring to a boil. Add some oil to the water. Blanch the lettuce for a few seconds and remove. The blanching time is determined by personal taste.

  4. Drain the water and set aside to cool.

  5. Add a little oil and heat the pan.

  6. Pour in the prepared sauce and stir until it boils, then reduce the sauce over low heat.
