Steps
-
First prepare the materials. I originally planned to use eggs in the picture, but later changed them to water
-
Soften the butter at room temperature in advance, then sift in the flour and powdered sugar
-
Knead the flour and butter with your hands until it feels like sand
-
Add 90g water or egg liquid
-
Press into a ball with your hands, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes to 1 hour
-
Peel and cut the apple into small pieces, squeeze in a few drops of lemon juice to prevent oxidation
-
Pour the apple cubes into a non-stick pan, add sugar and salt and stir-fry until the apples become soft
-
The juice will come out after the apple pieces become soft, then add 5g of cornstarch and a little water to make a gravy and pour it into the apples
-
Let the fried apple cubes come to room temperature
-
Take 1/2 of the refrigerated dough and roll it into a coin-thick round sheet
-
Cover it on the pie plate and roll it out a little bigger
-
Use a rolling pin to roll off the excess, and use a fork to poke out some of the empty space to prevent the pie crust from puffing up
-
Pour the fried apple cubes over
-
Spread evenly over the pie plate
-
At this time, preheat the oven at 200° for 15 minutes. Roll out the remaining dough into thin slices and cut into strips
-
Arrange the noodles in one row first, then arrange the other row staggeredly
-
After braiding the pie crust, cut off the excess and brush with egg wash
-
Adjust the oven to 190° and bake for 15 minutes, then adjust the oven to 170° and bake for 20 minutes
-
Soon the whole house was filled with the sweet smell of apples and butter😋
-
Cut into pieces and eat
