Purple Sweet Potato Shortbread
Overview
Shortbread is a sweet snack in our family. I used to buy it on the street. Since I bought the oven, I haven’t bought any bread, cakes or anything else. Of course shortbread is no exception. The shortbread I made for the first time was relatively successful. The children said, "Mom, what you cook is so delicious." Can you do a little more? I love eating so much. Yes. If you make it yourself, it won't be too sweet and will taste much better. The most important thing is that it has no additives and is healthy to eat. It was originally made with bean paste, but my children were clamoring for purple sweet potatoes. I steamed some purple sweet potatoes temporarily and I didn't do anything special. I just pressed the purple sweet potatoes with a rolling pin into purple sweet potato puree. I didn't add sugar. Purple sweet potatoes themselves are sweet. I didn’t mark the red bean paste cake after I made it. I really can’t find it, so I might as well take a photo with the purple sweet potato!

Prepare materials
-
Pastry: 100 grams of flour and 70 grams of lard. Water and oil dough: 280 grams of flour + 20 grams of sugar + 45 grams of water + 80 grams of lard (knead separately. Do not add water for the water and oil dough at once. It depends on the degree of water absorption of the flour)
-
Divide the dough crust and pastry into 24 small portions on average
-
Roll out the water and oil pastry into a thin crust, put the pastry in the middle and wrap it up
-
Close the mouth and place it aside to relax for 10 minutes
-
Flatten the pastry again
-
Roll into ox tongue shape
-
Roll it up from top to bottom and let it rest for half an hour
-
Stand the rested dough up
-
Press flat
-
Roll it out into thin sides and thick middle
-
Wrap the purple sweet potato in the middle

Close the mouth of the dough and flatten it with the mouth facing down

I like the color of purple sweet potato

Children don’t like to eat purple sweet potatoes alone, but they love to eat snacks made from purple sweet potatoes.

Fortunately, the children who were photographed first came back from kindergarten, otherwise my purple sweet potato would not be able to meet everyone
