Applesauce
Overview
Simple and delicious applesauce, I usually make it at home for my wife and children. It is economical and affordable. I can spread it on bread and make a simple breakfast.

Ingredients
Steps
-
One apple, peeled and cored, cut into slices or small pieces.
-
Soak the cut apples in light salt water for ten minutes.
-
Pour out the salt water, wash the apples, and add an appropriate amount of sugar. (Add according to personal taste)
-
Add tap water and start to boil. After boiling, add rock sugar. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking to the pot.
-
After the apples are cooked, squeeze in the lemon juice of half a lemon. (Taste the sweetness and if it’s sour, add more sugar)
-
Don't turn off the heat after the water has boiled dry. Crush the apples in the pot until they turn into apple puree and continue stirring until it becomes a thick paste. Then turn off the heat.

This is a picture of the final product. It is very delicious and not as greasy as the bottled jam I bought.
