I have been dealing with fat cakes recently. Made various kinds of cakes. But I always forget to take pictures. This time I made brown sugar and date cake. Suitable for all ages.

Soak the red dates in hot water, remove the core and cut into fine pieces

Then pour in warm water. Don't pour it all in at once. Pour slowly. Puree until smooth. Pour in a little more water than usual for making steamed buns.

Then put the dough in a basket to ferment. Let the dough ferment until it is about twice in size. If the time is too long, it will taste sour

Then you can steam it in a pot, steam it with cold water. After the fire is cooked, steam it for about 25 minutes. When it is done, simmer it for 2 minutes
