Every time I make glutinous rice balls, I use the traditional method. This time I changed the traditional method and made a cute and interesting method, piggy bear paw glutinous rice balls.

First put 100 grams of sesame seeds and 80 grams of sugar into a food processor and crush them.

Beaten sugar and sesame filling.

Glutinous rice flour and cocoa powder.

Put half of the glutinous rice flour into a basin, add an appropriate amount of warm water, and knead it into a non-sticky dough.

Add the other half of the glutinous rice flour to 10 grams of cocoa powder, and also add an appropriate amount of warm water to form a cocoa dough.

Reconciled plain and cocoa dough.

Divide each dough into large, medium and small doughs.

Take the largest piece of dough of any color, press it into a round and thick piece with your hands, and then wrap it with sugar and sesame filling.

Pinch and round the mouth, and flatten slightly with the palm of your hand. As shown in the figure

Then take a medium portion of cocoa dough, roll it into a round ball and flatten it.

Apply some water to one end of the white dough. As shown in the picture.

Then take 3 to 4 pieces of the smallest size cocoa dough and roll them into balls.

Finish by sticking to the edges of the cocoa dough. Make all the dough in the same way.

Pour an appropriate amount of water into the pot and bring to a boil, add the glutinous rice balls, stir and cover tightly.

Cook the glutinous rice balls until they float.

Add appropriate amount of sugar and bring to a boil then turn off the heat. (The amount of sugar is optional according to personal taste)
