Pumpkin Pie with Banana Filling
Overview
There are two ripe bananas left at home, very sweet sesame bananas, and they are about to go bad. In order to avoid waste, I rolled up my sleeves and got to work immediately. From washing the pumpkin, steaming the pumpkin, kneading the dough, to the finished product, I made this pumpkin pie in 45 minutes. Of course, taking pictures took a little time, haha. My children don’t like pumpkin, but they happily accept it when made into cakes. They often make pumpkin cakes of various flavors and freeze them in the refrigerator. When they want to eat, they take them out and fry them in a pan directly before eating. When I pick up my child after four o'clock in the afternoon, he will always say he is hungry. At this time, eating two small pies can not only satisfy his hunger but also satisfy his desire for sweets. Today's pumpkin pie with banana filling does not have any seasonings, it is just the original taste. The premise is that the pumpkin and banana must be sweet enough.

Ingredients
Steps
-
Wash the pumpkin, peel it, slice it, and steam it in a steamer.
-
Drain the pumpkin after steaming.
-
While hot, add 180 grams of glutinous rice flour and mix into a dough, let it rest for 5 minutes. 1. The water content of pumpkin is different, and the amount of glutinous rice flour added will also be different. Add the amount of powder little by little as appropriate. 2. The dough should be softer, otherwise the fried cake will be hard and affect the taste.
-
Dice banana and set aside.
-
Divide the dough into 12 pieces and knead into balls. (If you are working at a slow speed, you must cover the ingredients and take them one by one. Once they are dry, it will be difficult to wrap.)
-
Take a pot and flatten it with the palm of your hand and add an appropriate amount of diced banana.
-
Close it like a reunion wrapper.
-
Flatten again.
-
Dip both sides with sesame seeds and press the pie lightly to make sure the sesame seeds are firmly coated.
-
Wrap all the pies in turn.
-
Heat a little vegetable oil in a pan and fry the patties until cooked. The fried pie is a very beautiful yellow color with a glutinous texture, with the sweetness of banana and the fragrance of sesame.
