Steps
-
After washing the squid, remove the black film on it. If hot water comes out of the faucet, it will be easier to remove the film by rinsing it with hot water of about 40℃
-
Slice the squid into diamond shapes. After frying in this way, you can get the curling effect.
-
Blanch it in boiling water, take it out and set aside.
-
Cut the Hangzhou pepper and Chaotian pepper into small slices, mince the ginger and garlic and set aside.
-
Slice carrots, onions, and spring onions. Heat an appropriate amount of oil in the pot, add the carrots, onions, and shallots and stir-fry over medium heat for 1 minute.
-
Add the squid and fry for another 1 minute.
-
Add a spoonful of seafood soy sauce and stir-fry until browned, about 30 seconds.
-
Add the Hangzhou pepper and Chaotian pepper and stir-fry twice quickly.
-
Add the minced ginger and garlic, then add two tablespoons of Korean chili paste and half a cup of water and continue frying. When the water is almost gone, add an appropriate amount of salt, MSG and 2 tablespoons of honey according to personal taste and stir-fry for 1 minute. Don't fry it too dry!
-
After turning off the heat, add the fried white sesame seeds and stir-fry twice with the remaining heat. Our Korean spicy fried squid is ready.
