Overview
I really like cartoon patterns, but I’m not good at drawing, so I’ll try something simpler, the Kate cat pattern, which is easier to draw, so let’s start

Ingredients
Steps
-
Prepare all materials and weigh out the amount
-
Separate the egg whites and yolks and put them in two basins. The basins should be clean, water-free and oil-free
-
Add salt to the egg yolks and 30 grams of sugar, mix well, then add corn oil in batches, mix well each time
-
Add milk and mix well
-
Sift in flour
-
Use a spatula to stir evenly into a thick egg yolk paste and set aside
-
Add a few drops of lemon juice to the egg whites, beat with an electric mixer at medium-high speed, add 60 grams of sugar three times, and continue beating
-
Whip until you can pull out two straight sharp corners, then it’s ready
-
Pour one-third of the egg whites into the egg yolk batter, and stir evenly. You can turn the bowl with your left hand and stir the egg batter with quick and light movements with your right hand
-
Pour the mixed egg yolk paste back into the egg whites
-
Use the same method as above and mix evenly until the mixed egg batter is smooth and delicate
-
Pour the egg batter into an eight-inch mold
-
Shake it to remove bubbles, put it in the preheated oven, put the second layer from the bottom, heat it up and down at 150 degrees for 55 minutes, and start baking
-
After taking it out of the oven, turn it upside down and remove from the mold
-
Whip 250 grams of whipping cream and 25 grams of fine sugar
-
Spread the cake evenly with butter
-
Use a toothpick to draw a Kate Cat pattern
-
Use a chocolate pencil to trace the outline
-
Add pigment to cream to get the desired color, paint it pink for clothes, and paint the edges yellow
-
Then apply color on the face and feet and it’s done
