Delicious and versatile, simple and quick sea salt caramel sauce has many uses. Mix it with custard sauce, make macaron fillings, spread sweet taste on bread, make glaze on desserts, make dipping sauce for biscuits, cookies, steamed buns, etc.

Put 60 grams of water and 150 grams of white sugar in the pot together.

Bring to a slow boil and maintain medium heat.

Cook until it turns light yellow.

Cook again until the color changes from light yellow to amber, and temporarily remove from the heat.

Add 100 grams of whipped cream and mix quickly.

While stirring constantly, be careful not to get burned by the heat.

Add 20 grams of unsalted butter and stir over low heat until the butter is completely melted.

Add 2 grams of sea salt and continue stirring over medium-low heat. (I didn’t have sea salt on hand, so I added regular salt. If table salt is saltier, just add 1 gram)

Cook until the water evaporates and it becomes slightly thick when you run it with a spatula. It will become thicker when it cools down.

Pour into the prepared bottle and let cool.
