Sweet potato balls
Overview
Very simple sweet potato balls. I remember that during the Spring Festival a few years ago, my mother-in-law would often fry many old-fashioned products. Among them was this simple sweet potato ball. I saw that most of the other versions added glutinous rice flour, but we added flour, and it was just as delicious.

Cut the sweet potatoes into small pieces and steam them in a pot (I usually steam them over medium heat for about 15 minutes).

Peel the steamed sweet potatoes and mash them into a puree with a spoon in a large bowl.

Add flour, the ratio of sweet potato to flour is about 2:1, and then add a little sugar.

Stir the sweet potatoes with flour and sugar evenly.

Then use disposable gloves to form sweet potato balls into glutinous rice ball-sized balls.

Add vegetable oil to the pot. When the oil temperature is 60% to 70% hot, add the sweet potato balls and fry slowly until the balls are golden brown and cooked.
