Kidney Bean Pork Ribs Buns
Overview
One day, my mother-in-law sent me a bag of kidney beans I grew myself. I couldn’t eat them all just by cooking, so I decided to try making kidney bean steamed buns with pork ribs

Steps
-
Chop the ribs into small pieces step by step. I used pork ribs, soak them in the blood and blanch them until cooked; then add cooking wine, bean paste, chopped green onion, and minced ginger, stir, marinate for a while and set aside
-
Cut kidney beans into small pieces
-
Add the cut kidney beans to the marinated pork ribs, salt, peanut oil, and thirteen spices and mix well. Kidney beans are oily. If there is animal oil, it is better to add it
-
Wake up the noodles in advance, wait until the fillings are mixed and start cutting into pieces and rolling out the dough
-
Let’s start making the buns. The skin should be thicker to avoid being punctured by the ribs. I worked alone and didn’t take pictures. Here are the pictures of the wrapped buns. My skill in making buns is really limited. I especially like the round buns made by others. Unfortunately, after several experiments, they are still ugly

After wrapping, wake up until the skin of the bun becomes soft to the touch. Turn on the heat and cook for another 25 minutes. Then turn off the heat and simmer for 10 minutes. The hot buns are ready
