Overview
Hanamaki is relatively simple to make among fermented noodles. Just roll it out and make it look good. It is one of the most popular noodle dishes!

Add water, yeast and flour into a dough, then cover with plastic wrap and ferment until about 2 times in size

Take it out and knead it to release the air, then let it rest for 10 minutes

Roll it into a large piece of dough

Sprinkle some oil on top and spread evenly

Then sprinkle some salt and spread evenly

Press the bottom thin, dip some water on the bottom, and then roll it up from bottom to top

Cut into equal portions

Stack two of them together and press them firmly in the middle with chopsticks

Brush a thin layer of oil on the steamer, put the green dough on it, and let it rise for about 45 minutes. After it is done, add cold water to the pot and steam over medium heat for about 18 minutes
