The bowl of cold noodles in my childhood memory

Overview

Cold noodles are something I have been eating since childhood. It is both a snack and a staple food. I remember when I was a kid, I could eat a bowl for only 5 cents, but it has increased to 5 yuan now. Thinking about it, these years have been like this seemingly long summer, but in fact it passed by in a blink of an eye, leaving only the aftertaste and sigh. So live like there is no tomorrow! Now in Chongqing, where the temperature is close to 40℃, I stay at home with the air conditioner blowing, eating cold noodles that are spicy, sweet and sour, paired with a bowl of sour plum soup or cold porridge~ God, forgive me, I just want to stay in this world!

Steps

  1. Chongqing people call it water surface, fresh noodles that have not been dried. It can be replaced with other handmade noodles, but dried noodles cannot! Cook cold noodles for half a minute less than usual. While the noodles are cooking, take a larger basin (or plate) and pour a little lettuce oil into it. If you don't like the taste, you can also pour salad oil. After the noodles are cooked, quickly remove them and drain them. Put them into the basin and mix the vegetable oil evenly. Use a fan to stir it up with chopsticks. Let cool and scatter before use.

  2. You can add whatever dishes you like. I used cucumber and kelp. The kelp should be cut into shreds, then cooked and left to cool, and the cucumber should be cut into shreds.

If there is no marked dosage, you can add or subtract it according to your personal taste and the amount of cold noodles! You can also add crispy soybeans and crispy peanuts~
