Prepare the ingredients: as shown (the bamboo shoots have been blanched).

Black fungus needs to be soaked in advance.

Blanch pork trotters and bacon and wash.

Cut the bacon into thick pieces.

Take a piece of ginger.

Put the pork trotters, bacon and ginger into a Corning soup pot, add an appropriate amount of water, cover and bring to a boil over medium heat, then lower the heat and simmer for 30 minutes.

Add the bamboo shoot slices and continue simmering the black fungus for 20 minutes.

Once stewed, adjust the salt (if the bacon is salty, season accordingly).
