Overview
How can we live without salted edamame on a hot summer day? A plate of salted edamame and a bottle of ice-cold beer bring a little bit of coolness to this hot summer.

Fresh edamame

Pick all the edamame beans and wash them

Cut off both ends of washed edamame for easy flavoring

Pour water into the pot slightly more than the edamame and add 2 tablespoons of salt

Add star anise and Sichuan peppercorns

Add a little oil
-
Bring to a boil, then turn to low heat and simmer for 20 minutes

Drain and serve on a plate. Refrigerate and go well with cold beer
