Steps
-
Prepare ingredients.
-
First, soak the raisins in mulberry wine or rum for more than half an hour (you may not need to soak them, depending on your personal taste).
-
Let the butter soften at room temperature and add the caster sugar and milk powder.
-
Beat with an electric mixer until fluffy and slightly lighter in color.
-
Add the egg yolk liquid powder three times, stirring each time evenly before adding another amount, until the butter mixture becomes thick and fluffy with a mixing knife.
-
Sift in flour.
-
Use your hands to fully combine the butter mixture and flour. After mixing evenly, add the drained raisins (the water must be drained, it is best to absorb it with paper).
-
Continue kneading the dough until it forms a smooth dough.
-
I originally wanted to make some shapes, but it turned out that the raisins were difficult to work with inside the dough, so I used a simple method, dividing them into small balls evenly and rolling them into balls.
-
Place on a baking sheet and press down with your thumb.
-
After everything is done, spread a layer of egg wash on the surface.
-
Put it in the oven, 180℃, high and low heat, for 15-18 minutes, until the surface turns golden brown.
