Milky Gingerbread Man
Overview
This is my first time baking, so let’s start with the simplest biscuits. Although there are still many shortcomings, when I dedicate the handmade biscuits I made to my dearest parents, the happiness is self-evident. Their happiness is my biggest motivation.

Ingredients
Steps
-
Prepare the materials and weigh them individually.
-
Cut the butter into small pieces and let it sit at room temperature to soften.
-
After beating with a whisk, add powdered sugar and beat until fluffy.
-
Add the whole egg liquid in 3 batches, beating each time until completely combined.
-
Sift in the low-gluten flour in batches.
-
Use a rubber spatula to stir evenly until the ingredients are fully mixed.
-
Shape into dough, wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour.
-
Sprinkle a little dry flour on the cutting board, use a rolling pin to roll the dough into a 2mm thick cake, and use a gingerbread man model to press out the shape. (My dough is a little soft and it is not easy to shape. There may be too much butter. You can reduce the amount of butter next time or extend the refrigeration time).
-
Carefully remove the edge of the dough, then use a spatula to remove the gingerbread man and transfer it to the baking sheet. I can bake two pans with this recipe.
-
Preheat the oven to 150 degrees for 10-12 minutes on the middle rack.
