Cut the beef into small pieces and soak in water for about 5 hours. Change the water every hour. I didn’t soak here for so long, I just soaked for two hours, and it felt okay.

Put the soaked beef in cold water into the pot, heat it over high heat until it boils and foams, then clean it, drain it and set aside.

Prepare the ingredients, dice the onion, and gather all the ingredients for later use. I didn't have cumin so I didn't use it, I think it would taste better if I did.

Add ice and stir-fry until rock sugar melts, then add bean paste, tomato paste and chives, stir-fry until fragrant.

Pour in an appropriate amount of water, about 2/3 of the pot full, heat over high heat until boiling, then turn to low heat and simmer for about 2 hours. Add appropriate amount of salt to the stewed beef soup.
