Sauce-flavored Chicken Wings

My son never gets tired of eating chicken wings. Today we have a sauce-flavored chicken wing. The sauce is rich and the wings are chewy. It is a must-have for banquets.

  1. Wash the chicken wings and set aside.

  2. Make two cuts at the top and bottom to blanch and set aside.

  3. Set aside onion and ginger.

  4. Pour oil into the wok, add rock sugar and stir-fry until sugar turns color, add chicken wings and stir-fry.

  5. Add onion and ginger and stir-fry until fragrant.

  6. Add soy sauce, dark soy sauce, and cooking wine.

  7. Add boiling water to smear the chicken wings, bring to a boil, reduce to low heat and simmer for half an hour.

  8. When cooked, reduce the juice over high heat, remove from the pan and add salt to taste.
