Steps
-
Divide 600g of flour into 3 equal portions. Add 60 grams of spinach puree and 30 grams of water to one portion and mix to form a green dough. Then add 89 grams of water to another portion to form a white dough. It is best to mix one portion with red yeast powder and 89 grams of water to form a red dough.
-
Prepare the fillings. I used corn, shrimp and meat fillings. You can use whatever fillings you want.
-
Roll out the three-color dough into sheets.
-
Stack the 3 types of dough together and trim them neatly with a knife.
-
After cutting it in half, apply some water on one piece, align it, place it, and press it with your hands.
-
Use a knife to cut into wide strips of about 1 cm. Take a few wide strips, with the cut side facing up. Apply some water to the adjacent areas, and put them together to line up.
-
Use a rolling pin to roll out the dumpling wrapper to the usual thickness.
-
Cut into slices, add fillings and pinch tightly to form dumplings. You can freely use your creativity at this moment. If you don’t want to make dumplings, you can use chopsticks to pinch them in the middle and it will instantly turn into a beautiful bow-tie noodle.
-
Wrapped wonton dumplings. You can eat it steamed or boiled. (Tips: You can also replace the red yeast rice powder with pumpkin puree in the dough, which is also very good. In short, you can choose the color freely)
