A different kind of flower roll------two-color pig's trotter flower roll
Overview
I remember when I was in group chat, I only thought of making simple two-color flower rolls. I always felt that it was very unsatisfactory, but I didn’t know what kind of flower rolls would look good. One day, by chance, a colleague shared a recipe for flower rolls. Almost all of them have been made, except for this pig’s trotters flower roll, but the original post The pie was filled with meat filling, and it didn't look that good, so I didn't start it yet. Yesterday I saw the cocoa powder left over from making the pie, and I was thinking about how to get rid of it, so I thought of the two-color rolls and the pig's trotters rolls, so the two merged into this two-color pig's trotters roll.

Ingredients
Steps
-
Add the baking powder to warm water and let it sit for 5 minutes. Then mix it with the flour and knead it into a smooth dough. Let it rise in a warm place until it doubles in size. Leave it in a warm place to ferment until it doubles in size. You can also put it in the refrigerator to ferment overnight.
-
Deflate the risen dough, divide it into two doughs, add cocoa powder to the smaller one and knead it into cocoa dough.
-
Roll the two kinds of dough into thick strips and cut them into small pieces of the same size
-
Roll each into the same round shape.
-
The cocoa dough is cut into half circles in the middle, and then one half circle is cut into fan shapes.
-
Take a piece of white dough, place a cocoa semicircle dough and align it.
-
Fold in half into a semicircle.
-
Place a fan-shaped cocoa dough and align it.
-
Fold in half to form a fan shape.
-
The center of the fan shape is cut along the radius. This length determines the length of the pig's trotters. I basically cut it to half, so the pig's trotters appear relatively short. If you want to make long pig's trotters, you need to roll out the dough and cut it at one-third, but you need to roll it thin, otherwise the pig's trotters will be too fat.
-
After cutting, fold it in half from left to right until it joins together.
-
Do it all.
-
Place the steamer for secondary fermentation until doubled in size.
-
Put the water in the steamer to boil, then simmer over high heat for 15 minutes, then simmer for another 5 minutes.
