Wash the red dates, remove cores, cut and cook for 5 minutes

Let the dough ferment until doubled in size

Knead the dough well, divide it into small pieces, and roll it into a round dough with four slightly thinner circles in the middle

Stack 6 pieces of dough together and press in the middle with chopsticks

Place a small noodle pillar in the middle for support (leave a piece when rolling out the dough and divide it into several noodle pillars)

Pinch the opening tightly and twist it slightly with your hands

Cut it in half from the middle, arrange it slightly, and stretch the petals outward

Secondary fermentation takes about thirty minutes

Soak dried roses in water, take petals, and place a petal at the stamen of the steamed buns. This way, you can have the sweetness of pumpkin and the fragrance of roses

Put a cloth on the steamer and bring it to a boil. Invite the roses to take a seat. Steam over high heat for fifteen minutes, and then steam for five minutes (false steaming means: after the steamed buns are steamed, turn off the heat, do not open the lid immediately, and open it after five minutes. During this time, the residual heat of the pot will make the surface of the steamed buns smoother. This process is steaming)
