Sweet and sour appetizer---Steamed pork ribs with plum sauce
Overview
Steamed pork ribs with plum sauce is a Cantonese home-cooked dish. It is usually made by crushing home-pickled sour plums, mixing seasonings and steaming them with the pork ribs. The pork ribs are tender and not too greasy. The sweet and sour plum meat will activate your intestines and stomach and whet your appetite!

Wash the pork chops and chop into small pieces.

Soak in clean water for 1 hour, changing the water 3-4 times in between.

Wash and mince the chives, peel and chop the garlic, cut the red pepper into small rings, and pat the ginger a few times.

Drain the ribs and put them into a container, add oyster sauce, plum sauce, salt, and sugar, and mix well with your hands.

Add the auxiliary ingredients and mix until uniform, seal in a plastic bag and refrigerate for more than 2 hours.

Take the ribs out onto a plate and steam them in a pot of boiling water over high heat for 15 minutes.
