Steamed pork ribs with plum sauce is a Cantonese home-cooked dish. It is usually made by crushing home-pickled sour plums, mixing seasonings and steaming them with the pork ribs.   1. Wash the pork chops and chop into small pieces.

  2. Soak in clean water for 1 hour, changing the water 3-4 times in between.

  3. Wash and mince the chives, peel and chop the garlic, cut the red pepper into small rings, and pat the ginger a few times.

  4. Drain the ribs and put them into a container, add oyster sauce, plum sauce, salt, and sugar, and mix well with your hands.

  5. Add the auxiliary ingredients and mix until uniform, seal in a plastic bag and refrigerate for more than 2 hours.

  6. Take the ribs out onto a plate and steam them in a pot of boiling water over high heat for 15 minutes.
