Corn bone soup

Corn bone soup

Overview

Today I saw fresh pork ribs in the supermarket and bought some. I also saw that the corn was pretty good, so I bought two. I simply combined them together to make this soup for my daughter. Corn, dates and carrots are all sweet, so don’t put too much in, otherwise the soup will be too sweet and lose the flavor of the bones and meat. The best dates for making soup are small dates, but there were no small dates at home, so I had to make do with three large dates. In the end, the soup was too sweet, and my daughter didn’t like it that much, so today was considered a failure. . . . . Although my husband likes to drink it, it doesn’t count as long as my daughter doesn’t like it, hahaha. I will definitely not make do with it in the future

  1. Soak the drum bones in cold water, wash them, put them in a pot of cold water and bring them to a boil, boil away the blood, take them out and rinse them with warm water. Heat water in a clean pot and add the bone pieces, then add cooking wine, ginger slices and green onion segments. The fire is boiling

  3. After the fire is boiled, skim off the scum and oil, then add corn, carrots, red dates, and wolfberry (I put them in early to save trouble, but actually they should be put in later), bring to a boil and then turn to medium heat.

  4. After an hour and a half, just add an appropriate amount of salt. You can also add some chicken essence and pepper to taste according to personal preference.
