Osmanthus glutinous rice and lotus root
Overview
I went to a restaurant to eat. My mother liked this very much. What mom likes, if you can learn it, you must learn it; if you can’t learn it, you must work hard!

Steps
-
Wash the lotus root and peel it.
-
Soak the glutinous rice in cold water for more than an hour.
-
Cut off about 3 cm of lotus root.
-
Use chopsticks to fill each hole of the lotus root with glutinous rice.
-
The cut off section is also filled with glutinous rice.
-
Use toothpicks to secure the two sections.
-
Put it into the electric pressure cooker, cover the lotus roots with cold water, add an appropriate amount of brown sugar, a little rock sugar, and a little sugar-osmanthus. Cover the pot and cook for 30 minutes. (The electric pressure cooker cooks very quickly. If you use a casserole or the like, the water needs to be boiled for more than two hours)
-
After making it, put it in the refrigerator and soak it in the original soup overnight. Cut into thicker slices and sprinkle with sugared osmanthus. It’s ready to eat, sweet and glutinous.
