Prepare a small cup, one cup of light soy sauce, four-fifths cooking wine, and one-fifth soy sauce.

A few bay leaves, a few star anise and a few rock sugar.

Pour in the quail eggs, bring to a boil over medium-low heat, and turn over low heat, stirring at any time to avoid uneven seasoning.
