Handmade ice powder

Overview

Ice powder is a famous snack originated from Meishan, Sichuan. It has become quite popular in Chengdu in recent years and is a famous summer snack. It is cool and sweet, tender and refreshing, promotes body fluids and relieves heat, cools and reduces internal heat. As a summer delicacy, it is favored by people because of its smoothness, transparency, coldness, deliciousness and low price. Its main raw material is produced from the ice powder tree, whose scientific name is pseudophysalis, also known as pearl lotus and ice powder tree. It is native to Peru and is mainly distributed in Yunnan, Guangxi and other places in China. It is also cultivated in Guizhou, Hunan and Sichuan. This delicious snack of ice powder also originated here.

1. 1 Ice powder seeds and lime powder are ready.

   

2. 2 Take 100 grams of ice powder seeds and set aside.

   

3. 3 Take 10 grams of lime powder and mix it with 400 grams of cold boiled water.

6. 6 Pour the clarified lime water into the ice powder slurry, mix it quickly with chopsticks, and let it sit for about an hour to solidify. It tastes better after being chilled in the refrigerator.

   

7. 7 Put the peanuts in the oven at 180 degrees for 10 minutes and roast until fragrant.

9. 9 Add appropriate amount of water to brown sugar to make brown sugar water.
