Rose steamed buns
Overview
I like to use pumpkins to make steamed buns. They are made into flower-like buns, which are beautiful and delicious. It’s been a while since I’ve done it, and I’m quite satisfied with it this time.

Peel and steam the pumpkin.

Pour into the food processor and puree.

Boil the yeast with a little warm water.

Pumpkin puree, mix well with sugar and flour.

Add yeast water and mix into dough.

Knead smooth dough.

Cover with a damp cloth or plastic wrap and let ferment in a warm place until 1.5 or 2 times in size.

Knead the dough again into a smooth dough and deflate the air. Cut into equal doses.

Roll into discs. Five pieces are stacked together.

Roll up from one end.

Cut in the middle.

The finished rosette dough.

Put everything on the plate and let it sit for 20 minutes for secondary fermentation.

Pour cold water into the pot, steam for about 10 minutes after the pot is boiled, then stop the heat and simmer for three minutes.
