Steamed loofah with onion flavor
Overview
Yesterday I picked 4 loofahs grown at home. Luffa is a seasonal vegetable in summer, so it’s good to eat more of it. When making this dish, I originally wanted to use minced garlic for steaming. Just like the previous dish, I ran out of garlic at home and forgot to buy it, so I used red onions instead. It would be nice to make it with a green onion flavor. Eating more steamed vegetables in summer is healthier and can retain more nutrients in vegetables.
