Overview
Pork root is actually the layer of tendons on the shoulder meat, plus a thin layer of pork, and is used to make soup. It is quite tender and smooth. Today I will make a root lettuce and mushroom soup.

Cut the pork root, lettuce and mushrooms and set aside
