Seaweed Braised Pork Ribs
Overview
Kelp is a good product for supplementing iodine. It is high quality and low price. It can be baked together with the ribs to supplement iodine and calcium.

Chop the pork ribs into pieces, wash and drain, and set aside.

Wash and cut kelp into pieces.

Heat oil in pan and add ribs.

Stir-fry until the ribs change color.

Add onion and ginger segments and stir-fry until fragrant.

Add soy sauce and Maggi and stir-fry until fragrant.

Add water, star anise, cinnamon, salt and sugar and stir-fry evenly.

Bring to a boil over high heat, cover and simmer for 50 minutes.

Add kelp, cover and simmer for 30 minutes, then turn off the heat.
