Steamed Pork Ribs with Millet Chili Sauce

I had a family gathering on New Year's Day and made this steamed pork ribs with millet chili sauce. Hehe, it tasted really good. The meat was wrapped in chili sauce and millet, which was fragrant but not greasy.

Wash the millet, add water and soak for more than 3 hours; cut the ribs into 5 cm long strips, wash and control the water.

Chop the onion, ginger, and garlic into mince, pour it into a larger basin together with the ribs, and stir evenly.

Then add salt, light soy sauce, cooking wine, and salad oil, and stir evenly.

Pour in the starch and bean paste.

Continue to stir with your hands until all the ingredients are fully incorporated into the ribs.

Finally pour in the soaked millet. Stir evenly so that each rib is evenly coated with millet, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 2 hours.

Put water in the pressure cooker, put a grate in it, and put the rib pot in it.

Steam over high heat for about 40 minutes until the bones fall off.
