Wash the chestnuts and dry them, then make incisions on the surface one by one

Put the chestnuts into the steamer and steam for 15 minutes

Put the steamed chestnuts into a basin, pour in peanut oil, and weigh the basin so that the chestnuts are covered with oil

Line a baking sheet with oil paper, pour the oiled chestnuts into the baking sheet and spread them flat, put it into the middle rack of a preheated oven at 200 degrees and bake for 20 minutes. Take it out

Pour the sugar and water into the oil basin where you just mixed the chestnuts and heat over low heat until the sugar dissolves

Pour the chestnuts mixed with sugar liquid into the baking pan. Use a brush to brush the remaining sugar liquid on the edges of the chestnuts. Place the chestnuts in the upper rack of the oven at 180 degrees and bake for another 10 minutes
