Homemade walnut cake
Overview
This is a simple walnut cake to make. It has a crispy texture, slightly sweet but not greasy, and has a strong aroma of walnuts. It is a very good snack that the whole family likes very much. Of course, if you like it sweeter, you can increase the amount of sugar.

Steps
-
Place the peeled walnut kernels into the air fryer and fry at 180 degrees for 4 minutes.
-
After cooling, use a dough pin to gently press it into the size of soybeans and set aside.
-
After beating the eggs, add the sugar and beat with egg beater until completely dissolved.
-
Add corn oil, mix well and set aside.
-
Put all the powder into a clean basin and mix evenly, then pour in the egg-sugar-oil mixture.
-
Use a spatula to mix slightly, add chopped cooked walnut kernels, and then use a spatula to mix evenly into a ball.
-
Wearing disposable gloves, divide the dough into 12 equal portions and roll into balls.
-
Put your hands together and gently squeeze the dough into a dough about 1 cm thick. Place it on a baking sheet lined with greaseproof paper. Brush lightly with egg wash (or just egg yolk). You can sprinkle some black and white sesame seeds for decoration (forgot to take a photo).

Place in the middle rack of the oven, bake at 180 degrees for 20 minutes until golden brown, and take out of the oven.
