Chives and sesame rolls
Overview
Hanamaki is a common noodle dish, but it comes in many shapes and flavors. The flower roll shape I made today is very simple. Even a novice can make it. I will share with you the detailed method. The taste is salty and sweet, with chives, and black sesame seeds make it even more fragrant and delicious.

Steps
-
Dissolve the yeast and sugar in warm water and pour it into the flour and milk powder. If you don't have milk powder, you don't need to add it. I just want to increase the nutrition. Use chopsticks to mix it into a flocculent form.
-
Knead it into a smooth dough with your hands, cover it with plastic wrap, and ferment it in a warm place until it doubles in size. If the room temperature is low, you can put it in the oven or microwave to ferment.
-
During the fermentation process, drain the washed green onions, cut into chopped green onions, add a small amount of salt, and mix evenly.
-
Knead and deflate the fermented dough, roll it into a rectangular shape, and sprinkle with chopped green onion and sesame seeds on top.
-
Fold upward in half.
-
Cut into 9 parts, and make another cut in the middle of each part without cutting, as shown in the picture.
-
Take one end in each hand and gently stretch it.
-
Twist the left and right hands in opposite directions like twisting twists.
-
Tie a knot, tuck the head into the middle, place it in a steamer, and let it rise in a warm place for about 20 minutes. You can see that the flower roll embryo is obviously bigger.
-
Steam in a pot with cold water. After the fire comes to a boil, turn to medium-low heat and steam for about 15 minutes. When the time is up, turn off the heat and continue to simmer for 3-5 minutes before opening the lid.
