Chaoshan specialty bean paste is very unique. The salty fragrant beans are rich in flavor and go well with steamed fish.

A yellow croaker.

Bean paste, ginger, fragrant.

Prepare the fish scales and internal organs and make several cuts.

Cut some shredded ginger and place it on the fish and sprinkle some pepper.

Place in a pot of boiling water and steam for 18 minutes (subject to completion).

When the time is up, remove and discard excess soup.

Pour on the bean paste, sprinkle with a little sugar, and continue steaming for 2 minutes (this bean paste is very salty and will taste better if you add a little sugar).

Remove and add coriander.

Drizzle with hot oil and it's done.
