Stewed yam with hawthorn and candied dates
Overview
A slightly sour and sweet stew, it is very good whether it is eaten hot or cold. It is very appetizing with a little candied dates and hawthorn.

Peel the yam.

Cut the candied dates in half, remove the core from the hawthorn and slice into slices.

Cut the yam into pieces with a hob.

Boil the yam in a pot until transparent, remove and set aside.

Take another pot and add appropriate amount of water and rock sugar.

Add blanched yams.

Add candied dates and hawthorn.

Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to medium to low heat and simmer.

When the soup is thick and the yam is cooked and soft, turn off the heat.

Bring to a gentle heat and add appropriate amount of honey to taste.
