Homemade mutton skewers

Homemade mutton skewers

Overview

Background: I actually don’t like to eat mutton. I can’t stand the smell. My friend is from Inner Mongolia. Every year he buys half a mutton from there and brings it back to eat. Meat, the day I got it back, I was thinking about eating some mutton skewers... Every time I wanted to eat it, my husband said quietly, "You know what kind of meat it is..." I instantly lost the desire to eat it, so I tried making it myself. The taste was okay, and I was most definitely mutton.

Steps

  1. To marinate the mutton, put down all the soy sauce, salt, pepper powder, cooking wine, cumin powder, soybean paste, oil and chicken essence and marinate the fresh mutton for 1 hour (if you don’t have enough time, you can take less time. I was in a hurry so I only marinated it for 30 minutes haha)

  2. Thread the marinated meat on skewers. This skewer was bought on Taobao. It is more durable than bamboo skewers and can be used repeatedly

  3. Open the oven and preheat it at 230 degrees for 10 minutes. Cover the baking sheet with tin foil and start baking. I set the time for 30 minutes. Because the skewer is too long, the oven door cannot be closed, so I have to open it and bake. I take it out and brush it with oil three times and sprinkle with cumin and pepper powder. In order to let the baby eat all the chili powder in the first pot

  4. The one on the left is the roasted version without chili (the baby ate some, it was delicious) and the one on the right is freshly mixed with chili noodles. My husband and I love spicy food, so we add more. You can add more chili as appropriate

  5. Just put it on the plate and start eating. A total of ten skewers were grilled
