Eight Minute Chicken Nuggets

Overview

This dish is often made by my mother, and the cooking process really only takes eight minutes in the microwave! Super simple and delicious, no fumes at all, perfect for summer.

  1. The raw materials are as shown in the picture, cut the chicken into small pieces, rinse with water several times and drain, soak the fungus, prepare green onion slices, ginger slices and aniseed.

  2. Add half a spoonful of salt, half a spoonful of sugar, 1 tablespoon of dark soy sauce, and 2 tablespoons of cooking wine to the chicken pieces, mix well, and marinate for about ten minutes.

  3. Add a tablespoon of starch and mix well.

  4. Add green onion slices, ginger slices and aniseed, and mix well with your hands.

  5. Cover with a plate and put in the microwave on high heat for 4 minutes.

  6. Take it out and use chopsticks to penetrate it gently. Add the black fungus and mix well. Continue to cover and cook on high heat for another 4 minutes.

  7. When it comes out of the pan, stir in the chives (I forgot to take a photo) and it’s ready to eat! The chicken is tender and smooth, and the fungus has a strong chicken flavor. My baby loves it very much. The meat is very tender and chewing is not burdensome at all.
