Sugar Osmanthus Yam Cake
Overview
Osmanthus is pickled with sugar in autumn. I like to eat yams, but if I peel them raw, my hands will itch easily, so I steam them and eat them. It is better to peel the yam after steaming it with the skin on to prevent discoloration of the yam. Simple method, very popular, just too little.

Wash and cut the iron rod yam into sections

Steam in a steamer until cooked, about 20 minutes

After cooling slightly, peel

Use a food processor to puree without adding water

Make a small ball of about 60g. Use a mold to dip it in cold boiling water, add yam and press it into shape, then top with sugar osmanthus.
