Barley and Tremella Soup
Overview
Suddenly I wanted to have a barley and white fungus soup. A water-proof electric stew pot is the easiest to use and will usually be ready in about 2 hours. After more than 2 hours, the barley was overripe, but the white fungus had not yet become soft. When it comes to dealing with Tremella fuciformis, the electric stew pot does seem to have little skill. Maybe it takes a whole night to get the white fungus to its ideal state. Not wanting to wait any longer, I simply poured the barley and white fungus soup back into the pot and simmered it over low heat for more than 20 minutes. When I saw that the white fungus finally seemed less crispy, I finally lost my patience. That's it, the less thick white fungus soup is also good. . . .
