Overview
1. If you want the custard to have a smooth surface without bubbles: you can put a layer of plastic wrap on the bowl when steaming. 2. The light soy sauce can be added when beating the egg liquid, or you can pour the sesame oil on the custard together after steaming. 3. Minced green onions: You can use green onions, shallots, and chives.

Beat 1 egg in a bowl, add salt and chopped green onions, and beat into egg liquid.

Add 1 tablespoon of light soy sauce to the beaten egg liquid and prepare 1 bowl of warm water.

Slowly pour warm water into the bowl of egg liquid, stirring as you pour.

Place the bowl into a steamer, bring to a boil over high heat, then turn to low heat and steam for 4 to 5 minutes.
